Route type
Route Type is the functionality that allows the assignment of a specific designation to a route which allows filtering that route's availability by -

Route Type can be accessed at Set Up > Schedule > Route Set Up > Route Types.
Availability Templates
These are templates whereby zones are assigned time slots for work days.
Availability Templates can be accessed at Business Unit/Franchise > Operational Settings > Availability Template.
Steps to Add, Rename and Delete/Deactivate Route(s)
Add New Route
To add a new route, follow the steps below:
- Location in Vonigo - Business Unit > Routes (under Operational Settings)
- Click on Add New Route from the right side panel.
- Fill in the required fields.
- The - Name - field shows the name of the route as it shows up on the Schedule.
- The - Type - field refers to the Type the route is assigned to at the Set Up level. For more information on Route Types, please refer to the beginning of this article.
- The - Template - field - refers to the Availability Template assigned to the route. For more information on Availability Template, please refer to the beginning of this article.
- Click on Add New.
This is how it would show up on the Schedule.
Rename a route
To rename a route, follow the steps below:
- Location in Vonigo - Business Unit > Routes (under Operational Settings).
- Click on the route to be renamed.
- Click on Edit under Route Details.
- Rename the route.
- Click on Update.
The Appearance Order, Booking Priority, and Route Label can also be changed here.
Deactivate/Delete a route
A deactivated route can be activated again.
A route that is deleted cannot be activated. It will have to be created anew.
To deactivate or delete a route:
- Click on Business Unit > Routes.
- Select the route(s) to be deactivated or deleted.
- Click on Deactivate or Delete under Actions on the right side panel.
The deleted route will no longer be seen on the Schedule.
If the route is deactivated, it will no longer be seen on the Schedule.
However, it can still be seen at Business Unit > Routes. The status for the Deactivate Route will show as - Inactive.
Activate a route
A deactivated route can be activated again.
To activate a route:
- Click on Business Unit > Routes.
- Select the route to be activated again.
- Click on Activate under Actions from the right side panel.
Once activated the route will show up on the Schedule again.
Note:
Before a route is to be deleted/deactivated, please make sure that there are no pending Work Orders assigned to the route.
You can check on this by clicking on the route by clicking on Business Unit > Routes.
The section Upcoming Work Orders will list the Work Orders assigned to the route.
Block or Unblock time slots on Route
Block time slots on Route
To block time slots on a route:
- Click on Schedule.
- Click on the Route name to be blocked.
- Click on Close Off Route.
- Specify the Start Date and Time and End Date and Time.
- Click on BOOK OFF TIME.
Unblock time slots Route
To unblock time slots on a route:
- Click on Schedule.
- Click on the Route name to be unblocked.
- Click on Activate Route.
- Specify the Start Date and Time and End Date and Time.
- Click on ACTIVATE ROUTE.
Route Types
Assign/Unassign Service Types to Routes
To assign or unassign service types to a route:
- Click on Set Up > Schedule > Route Set Up > Route Types
- Select the Route Type for which Service Type has to be enabled/disabled.
- Scroll down to Service Types.
- Enable/Disable the required Service Type(s) for that Route type.
- Click on Update on the right side panel.
Enable/Disable Use case for Route Type
To enable or disable a use case for route type:
- Click on Set Up > Schedule > Route Set Up > Route Types.
- Scroll down to enable/disable Used for options.
- Once the required options are enabled/disabled, click Update.
