Overview
Capacity Pools is a feature to generate Reports Results on the utilization of different types of resources based on specific route types. It allows you to track the utilization of the scheduled assets based on the specific categorization. It is linked to the production resources through route types to which they are assigned.
Case Studies: Painting Company with Estimation Teams (Production and Non-production Teams)
A painting company has two different teams (production and non-production teams). The production team takes charge of the project execution whereas the non-production team takes charge of the project estimation and preparation. Each team is assigned a different route. To track the utilization of resources on Revenue Report Results between production and non-production teams, we’ll be using the Capacity Pools feature. We’ll develop two additional columns (Production and Non-production) on Revenue Report Results to track the contribution of each team towards revenue as follows.
