Setup - Service Type - Franchise Exceptions
In multi-finance setups, this article provides an overview of how to filter out which service kinds are available for which Business Unit (or franchises). This can be accomplished by using Service Type Exceptions.
Activate Service Type Exceptions
To activate the Service Type Exceptions:
Contact the Vonigo Customer Success Team to activate the Franchise Specific Service Types
After activating the Franchise Specific Service Types, the activated Exceptions link can be visible in:
Navigate to Setup
Hover to My Company
Under the Business Rules, Navigates to the Service Types
Click on the Exceptions
Clicking on the Exceptions the system will present a list of all Business Units (or franchises).
Clicking on each franchise system will open a screen listing all active service types with selected service types illustrating ones that are being used by the current franchise
This section shows the default configuration of the Business Unit (franchise)
Price lists show only the price list for the franchise opted in service type
Same with duration templates
This section shows the default configuration of the Business Unit operation
During the booking system will only show franchise opted in service type
Service type opt-outs could happen ether initially during original configuration or after the fact - work orders of the no longer active service type still will be present on the schedule
Zip Code Level Exceptions
The service type system can allow operating within the same zip codes for the different service types within different franchises.
To activate the Zip Code By Service Type option:
Contact the Vonigo Customer Success Team to activate the Zip Code By Service Type
Once the option is activated you can continue setup on zip code level.
