Description: This article discusses the activation and deactivation of Reports and gives steps to complete the change. Only corporate or system administrators have access to activate and deactivate Reports. This access is given by Vonigo administrators.
Deactivate Reports to temporarily hide them, but not delete them. The Report can later be activated to become visible again to all users.
A deactivated Report remains listed as "Inactive" in Available Reports, which can only be accessed by administrators. The Report will not be visible to any other user groups until activated again.
We use “corporate” to represent business owners, corporate head office or system administrators who have access to top-level system features and setup. We use "office" to represent a business unit, which may be a single-location operation, a franchise, or part of a non-profit or multi-location company. A “general manager” is responsible for setup and operations at the office level.
- Click Reports.
- Hover over a Report Name for Actions to show.
- Click Deactivate.
- In the pop-up at the top of the page, click OK to confirm.
System Administrators will see the Report listed as Inactive. No other users will see the Report at all.
