Overview
Creating Multiple Work Orders is an alternative to recurrence. The multiple work orders feature allows you to duplicate an existing work order. Multiple work orders can be used regardless of whether the job is active or inactive.
Create Multiple Work Orders
To use the Multiple Work Orders feature, ensure that the Use Recurrence is not activated. Please contact your Vonigo Customer Success Team to activate this feature.
To create Multiple Work Orders:

Select Jobs.

Select Work Orders from the ACTIONS menu.

Click the desired Work Order.

On the selected Work Order section, click Create Multiple under the ACTIONS menu.

Set the configuration options of the selected Multiple Work Orders.
Entering the Multiple Work Orders Details
This section will detail each configuration option for the Multiple Work Orders.
Multiple Work Orders Details
The image above illustrates the Multiple Work Orders configuration settings. These are similar to recurrence but include numerous choices that recurrence does not.
Configuration Property | Description |
Client |
The client account is associated with Multiple Work Orders. |
Route |
This section is to select a route of your choice. It cannot be changed once Multiple Work Orders are created. |
Allow Scheduling To Different Routes If Current Busy |
This configuration will allow the change of route within the Work Order by checking the box. |
Start Time |
The Multiple Work Orders start time. |
End Time |
The Multiple Work Orders end time. |
Summary |
The description of the Multiple Work Orders. |
Do Not Change The Crew Assignment |
This configuration will not do any changes to the crew assignment. |
Copy Charges |
This configuration is used to copy the charges for every Work Order copy. |
The Copy Feature Explanation
This section will provide the Copy feature configuration description.
The Copy Charges: None Checked
No charges are copied to any newly formed Multiple Work Orders if the Copy Charges functionality is not checked.
The Copy Charges: "Each" Checked
All charges associated with the Work Orders will be duplicated to any newly copied Work Orders.
The Copy Charges: "First Only" Checked
All charges associated with the Work Orders will be duplicated to only the first created copied Work Orders.
The Copy Charges: "Last Only" Checked
All charges associated with the Work Orders will be duplicated to only the last created copied Work Orders.
Multiple Work Orders Pattern
This section is to select the frequency with which the Work Order will be repeated on the Schedule. Select an option and enter further information in the type field menu.
Daily
Set Multiple Work Orders on a daily basis.
- Enter a number in the middle, or click + to add a number or click - to subtract a number.
Weekly
Set Multiple Work Orders on a weekly basis.

Enter a number in the middle, or click + to add a number or click - to subtract a number.

Check mark the desired days of the week.
Monthly
Set Multiple Work Orders on a monthly basis.

Enter a number in the middle, or click + to add a number or click - to subtract a number.

Each: Enter the total number of days you want to set multiple work orders in a month.

On the: Select which weekday of the month from the drop-down list.
Yearly
Set Multiple Work Orders on a yearly basis.
- Enter a number in the middle, or click + to add a number or click - to subtract a number.
- On the: Select which weekday and month of the year from the drop-down list.
Multiple Work Orders Range
To specify a Start Date and End date for Multiple Work Orders.
Start Date
To specify the start date of the Recurrence:

Manually enter the start date in the "MM/DD/YYYY" format.

Click the calendar symbol to choose a date from.
Note: You can select a Past Date for the Start Date. This is permissible if the date falls within the last two months (no more than two months prior to the current date).
End Date
To specify the End Date of the Multiple Work Orders:

If you check this, the Work Order will be generated continually by the system without any limitation. |
Ends After |
This section is to enter a Max number for the recurrence to be generated by the system. It ends after the recurrence meets the Max Number. |
Ends By |
This section is to enter a date for the recurrence to end. You can manually enter the date in the "MM/DD/YYYY" format or click the calendar symbol to choose a date. |
Multiple Work Orders Confirmation
After completing the configuration settings of the Multiple Work Orders, you can exclude and include the Multiple Work Orders that have just been within the date range of your choice on the Confirm Appointments Being Booked window.
