Overview
Upsell tracking is a feature that helps you monitor and analyze your upselling activities. It allows businesses to track the upsell of each charge item. Additionally, it enables businesses to track multiple sales reps and upsell representatives during work order schedules, providing business insights. Upsell tracking also offers relevant reporting metrics, such as successful upsells, total revenue generated, and conversion rates, which businesses can use to evaluate the effectiveness of their upselling strategies and make data-driven decisions.

-
Select the Upsell Tracking button. This will redirect you to the Upsell Tracking interface.
-
The interface contains the following fields:
Field | Description |
Hours | It indicates the amount of time spent on a specific task or service for which the charge is being applied. |
Qty |
It specifies the number of products or services being charged. |
Subtotal | It represents the monetary amount associated with the specific items or services being charged. |
Credit Assigned To | This field identifies the sales representative or staff member to whom the credit for the charge is assigned. |
Credit Assigned Customized | It indicates the ✅ if the Credit Assigned field is customized to the user who is different from the charge creator. |
-
If you click the charge name panel, it will show the following fields:
Field | Description |
Created On |
It indicates when the charge entry was first recorded. |
Created By | It indicates the person responsible for initiating the charge entry. |
Last Edited On | It reflects the last time any changes were made to the charge details. |
Last Edited By | It indicates the person responsible for the most recent changes to the charge entry. |
Credit Assigned On | It indicates when the credit attribution took place. |
Credit Assigned By | It indicates the person responsible for attributing the revenue or commission to the appropriate individuals or accounts. |
Note:
-
By default, credit is assigned when a new work order is created or when a new charge is added to an existing work order.
-
If a charge is removed and recreated, the original information about the charge is lost, and it is treated as a new entry with an updated date-time stamp and user information.
-
Updating a charge does not result in the user who made the update being reassigned credit for that charge.
-
When converting quote charges into a work order, the user who originally added those charges to the quote retains the credit for them, not the user who performed the conversion.
-
When a work order is copied, the user who copied it is assigned credit for the newly created work order.
-
For recurring work orders, credit is assigned to the person assigned to the original work order from which the recurrence is created.
-
Upsell tracking data can be accessed for archived work orders, but modifications to the data are not possible.
